SoulAir choir of the Bakáts Square Elementary School of Music was founded in September 2010. Their repertoire includes renaissance, baroque, and classical pieces, choral works from the 20th century, as well as high quality contemporary pop music. The choir regularly performs at urban events, festivals, contests, charity concerts, and also abroad. In the previous years they visited Transylvania, Austria, France, Germany and Switzerland. SoulAir was the choir playing the key role in Kristóf Deák’s Oscar-winning short film, “Sing”. They received the Pro Urbe prize in 2018.
